The 2006 International Conference of
Business, Economics and Management Disciplines will be held at the School
of Management, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing,
Peoples Republic of China from June 23rd to 25th , 2006.
Conference Theme
The Conference theme: Asia and the Changing Global
Economy.
Paper
Presentations
Papers for presentation and possible
publication in the proceedings are invited from all business, economics
and management disciplines. Although the conference theme is "Asia and the
Global Economy," papers on any topic within the broad, general areas of
economics, management and business will be considered.
Publication
Abstracts (200 words maximum) of all
papers presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of
the Journal of
Comparative International Management (Vol. 9, No. 2). Selected
full papers from the conference will be considered for publication in this
special issue. The journal is indexed/abstracted in International
Bibliography of Social Sciences, Canadian Periodical Index, International
Abstracts of Personnel Management, UNESCO DatabaseSocial Sciences Online
Periodicals, Infotrac and Digital Libraries.

Information

Please submit a copy of your
original paper, abstract or proposal as e-mail attachment. Each
submission should include the name, address and telephone number of the
contact person for the paper. Papers, abstracts or paper proposals will
be reviewed as they come in, and authors of accepted submissions will be
notified as soon as possible. The review process uses a double blind
system. In order for papers to be considered for publication in the
proceedings, the completed papers together with the registration form
and fees must be in the hands of the Conference Co-chair, Dr. Basu
Sharma, by May 15, 2006. Authors of all accpeted papers must register
for the Conference by this date.

Registration is US$250. Registration includes admission to all
presentations and exhibits, Friday reception, Saturday breakfast,
luncheon and banquet, one year subscription to the Journal of
Comparative International Management, and Conference Proceedings on
CD rom.

Science and Technology Beijing. A number of rooms have been reserved at
Beijing Friendship Hotel.
