The
Conference theme: Managing for Prosperity and Sustainability: The Interface
of Business, Economics and Environment.
Paper
Presentations
Papers
for presentation and possible publication in the proceedings are invited
from all business, economics, management and environment-related disciplines.
Although the conference theme is "Managing for Prosperity and Sustainability:
The Interface of Business, Economics and Environment," papers on any topic
within the broad, general areas of economics, Environment, management and
business will be considered.
Publication
Abstracts
(200 words maximum) of all papers presented at the conference will be published
in a special issue of the Journal of Comparative
International Management
(Vol. 14, No. 1). Selected full papers from the conference will be
considered
for publication in this special issue. The journal is indexed/abstracted
in International Bibliography of Social Sciences,EBSCO, Canadian Periodical
Index, International Abstracts of Personnel Management, UNESCO Database—Social
Sciences Online Periodicals, Infotrac and Digital Libraries.
General Instructions and
Information
Please e-mail a copy of your
original paper, abstract or proposal to appropriate division chair. Each
submission should
include a cover letter together with the name, address and telephone number
of the contact person for the paper. Initially this is what is needed. Papers,
abstracts or paper proposals will be reviewed as they come,
and participants will be notified as soon as possible. The review process
uses a double blind system. In order for papers to be considered for publication
in the proceedings the completed papers must be in the hands of the Program
Chair by July 1, 2011. Authors of accepted papers will also register for
the Conference by this date.

Registration:
Registration is US$300.
Registration includes admissions
to all presentations and exhibits, Wednesday reception, Thursday breakfast,
luncheon and banquet, Sunday breakfast, one year subscription to the Journal
of Comparative International Management, and Conference Proceedings
on CD rom.
Hotel Information: The conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel,
Lafayette, Lousiana, U.S.A..
The room rate is $80 (U.S.) plus applicable taxes per night. This
special conference rate is available until June 30, 2011.
